What is an action map?

Short answer. An action map is AgentWeb's description of one website as a set of typed actions an AI agent can call. Each action has a name, inputs, a result and a plain description of what it changes. As of Oct 20, 2026, AgentWeb has 1,467 maps covering 1,462 sites and 7,073 actions, listed publicly at /sites/all.

An action map is to a website what an API reference is to a service: the list of things you can do and exactly how.

What's in a map

  • The site and a version, for example LinkedIn version 0.7.1.
  • Actions that act, like send_inmail, with a note on whether they are real, public or irreversible.
  • Actions that read, like get_profile, so the agent can check before acting.
  • Whether it needs a login. As of Oct 20, 2026, 1,115 maps run on the user's own account.
  • Whether it's partial. A partial map says so, and so does its page here.

How an agent uses one

  1. Call list_actions for the domain.
  2. Pick the action that matches the task.
  3. Call execute with the params and read the structured result.
