# Can an AI agent book a table on OpenTable?

> **Short answer.** Partly, through AgentWeb. As of Oct 23, 2026, the OpenTable map (version 0.1.0) gives your agent 8 actions. It can find restaurants, check reservation time-slot availability across several restaurants and lock a specific slot during the booking flow. The final booking step is not mapped yet. For bookings that complete end to end today, AgentWeb's SevenRooms and DesignMyNight maps both book real tables.

## How the login works

The person signs in once on OpenTable through AgentWeb's hosted login, started with `agentweb_start_connection` and confirmed with `agentweb_poll_connection`. Your agent never sees the password. Actions then run on that person's own account, and they can disconnect at any time.

- Completing the reservation after the slot lock is not mapped yet.
- Cancelling an OpenTable reservation is not mapped yet.

### Can my agent finish an OpenTable booking today?

Not yet. It can find the table and lock the slot. For end-to-end bookings use SevenRooms (`book_reservation`) or DesignMyNight (`book_table`).

### What does it cost?

Each completed action costs $0.05, paid from prepaid blocks of $25, $50 or $100 that never expire. Failed actions are refunded.
