# Can an AI agent look up a LinkedIn profile on demand?

AgentWeb's `get_profile` turns a LinkedIn /in/ name from a pasted link into the member's profile ID, name, headline, About text and location, using the user's own signed-in session. ## What it does

Resolves a public profile vanity name (the /in/ slug) to the member's profile ID, plus their name, headline, About text, country, location, industry and whether they hold Premium.

### Does it show where they work now?

Use `get_profile_experience` for the work history. The row with no end year is the current role.

### Can I tell if they have an Open Profile?

`get_profile` returns `premium`, and Open Profile is a Premium-only setting. `verify_open_profile` gives the actual answer.

### What does it cost?

Each completed action costs $0.05, paid from prepaid blocks of $25, $50 or $100 that never expire. Failed actions are refunded.
