# Can an AI agent post on LinkedIn for me?

By Andrey Marey, Founder of AgentWeb · As of Oct 22, 2026

> **Short answer.** Yes. AgentWeb's `create_post` publishes a text post to the user's LinkedIn feed from their own account. It is public and immediate, and visible to anyone, so the agent should show the exact text and get a yes first. As of Oct 20, 2026, it is text only: no images, video, links, polls or mentions.

## What it does

Publishes a text post to the member's feed. It appears on their profile and feed immediately.

## What your agent needs

- The post text.

## What comes back

The new post's URN.

## Using it safely

- Always show the user the exact final text and get explicit approval.
- Text only: images, video, links, polls, mentions and hashtags need a media flow that isn't mapped yet.

## Try it

This sends a real post from the connected account. Get the person's approval first.

```bash
curl -s https://mcp.agentweb.us/api/execute \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTWEB_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: linkedin-create_post-1" \
  -d '{"domain":"linkedin.com","action":"create_post","params":{"text":"We shipped something new today."}}'
```

Parameter names shown are illustrative. Your agent gets the exact schema for every action from AgentWeb's `list_actions` tool.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does it cost?

Each completed action costs $0.05, paid from prepaid blocks of $25, $50 or $100 that never expire. Failed actions are refunded.

### Which AI tools can use it?

Any agent that speaks MCP or HTTP. Add `https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp` as a remote MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or Grok, or call the REST endpoint directly.
