# How do I let my WhatsApp agent take actions on websites?

By Andrey Marey, Founder of AgentWeb · As of Oct 20, 2026

> **Short answer.** Connect the agent behind your WhatsApp number to AgentWeb. AgentWeb is the execution layer for AI agents: typed web actions on 1,462 real sites (as of Oct 20, 2026), like Uber Eats `place_order`, SevenRooms `book_reservation` and LinkedIn `send_message`, run on each user's own account through a hosted login, at $0.05 per completed action with failed actions refunded.

## Set it up

1. Run your WhatsApp agent on any stack that can make HTTP calls, such as the WhatsApp Business API directly or Photon's `spectrum-ts` WhatsApp Business provider.
2. Get an AgentWeb `aw_` API key.
3. When your model picks a task, call `POST https://mcp.agentweb.us/api/execute` with `domain`, `action` and `params`, or use the MCP server at `https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp`.
4. For tasks on a user's account, send them the hosted login link from `agentweb_start_connection` and confirm it with `agentweb_poll_connection`.
5. Confirm totals and message text with the user before paid or public actions.

## What your agent can do from a WhatsApp message

- Book a table: SevenRooms or DesignMyNight.
- Order food: Uber Eats, from cart to placed order.
- Build a Ryanair booking up to payment.
- Message, connect or send InMail on LinkedIn.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does my agent see the user's passwords?
No. Users sign in once through AgentWeb's hosted login, and the agent never sees the password.

### What happens if an action fails?
The agent gets an error back instead of a silent failure, and failed actions are refunded.
