# How do I let ChatGPT take actions on websites?

By Andrey Marey, Founder of AgentWeb · As of Oct 20, 2026

> **Short answer.** Add AgentWeb as a custom connector in ChatGPT with the URL `https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp`. ChatGPT then gets typed web actions on 1,462 real sites (as of Oct 20, 2026), such as booking a SevenRooms table, ordering on Uber Eats or sending a LinkedIn message from your own account, at $0.05 per completed action with failed actions refunded.

## Set it up

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings > Connectors.
2. Enable Developer Mode.
3. Choose Add custom connector and enter `https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp`.
4. Complete the sign-in.
5. Ask for a task, like "book a table for two at 8 on Friday".

## Frequently asked questions

### Does ChatGPT see my passwords?
No. Sites that need your account use AgentWeb's hosted login, and ChatGPT never sees the password.

### What can it do on LinkedIn?
Send messages, start conversations, send connection requests and InMail, and publish text posts, plus read profiles and the people at a company. See [LinkedIn API for AI agents](/sites/linkedin.com/).
